Time to Serve!
During the month of June there are plenty of service opportunties here at The Highlands. Check out the following, get off the couch, plug in, and give your life away in service!
Towels of Emmanuel: Orphanage Emmanuel ministers to approximately 450 children and are currently in dire need of bath towels. Throughout June we're collecting bath towels for the children at Orphanage Emmanuel in Honduras. Please bring that stack of bath towels sitting in your house that isn't being used and we'll get them to God's kids. Drop spot will be here at church. Questions? Habitat for Humanity: Saturday, June 7 we're headed to work at a local Habitat site. Meet at the church at 7:30 AM, bring work gloves, and water. We'll head over to site and wrap up around 2:00 PM. Contact Brian miller at for more info.
Good News @ Noon: Join us every Thursday from 11:30 AM - 12:15 PM as we serve lunch to "the least of these." Contact Connie Henderson at or (770) 540-0697 for more info.
Church Lawn Care: Yes, we need people to help cut the grass. There is a sign-up sheet outside the office on the bulletin board or you can email us at and we'll set you up.
Church Cleaning: Why not serve by helping us keep the church clean? Perhaps your small group could take a week and help us out. Email us at and we'll see that you get a list of what needs to be done before each Sunday.
