Summer @ The Highlands
It's summertime!! Not only is summer a great time for a change of pace, but it's an excellant time to invite people to check out our church. Whether you're a new face to The Highlands, a regular, a long time attender, or simply thinking about checking us out, you're invited to come and hang out with The Highlands this summer as we "build a community to reach a community" because when we do we'll eventually be "Inviting people to a real relationship with Jesus." Here's what's happening.
Nothing But Nets Serve Project: Malaria kills, mosquito nets save lives. All summer long we’re collecting donations for Nothing but Nets and at the end of the summer we’ll see how much we’ve collected and send it off. Click the link and learn more.

Servant Evangelism: The Back-to-School Backpack Attack – From mid-July to early August pick a school supplies list for an area school, buy an appropriate back pack for that student, fill the list, place school supplies in the backpack, bring to the church with the list INSIDE the backpack.
