Vision & Mission
Vision is what we believe God is calling us to do and accomplish for his glory. It is a word picture of a future reality from God's perspective. In short, a church without a vision is like following an explorer without a compass. You'll never know where you're going! In other words, the vision is our destination.
The Vision 
We have a dream for a church that strives to be a place where the people are accepted and shown the unconditional love of God, regardless of where on life's spiritual journey they find themselves. We dream of a church where worship isn't a dry, lifeless, long-faced service, but is regarded as a celebrative, mysterious, and reverent experience with an amazing God. We see a church where the Christian faith is lived honestly, simply, and with integrity. Where being a follower of Jesus is more than memorizing words on onionskin paper. A place where all people are ultimately transformed by Jesus Christ through loving, laughing, living, and learning together in small groups, who in turn, mentor and develop new generations of fully devoted followers of Christ.
We dream of a church where people are equipped, encouraged, and empowered to discover their God-given spiritual gifts in service to God and community. Where all people use the gifts and talents God has given them, to ensure that the entire church may functions like a well-oiled machine or a well-tuned orchestra. A church where everyone contributes his or her part to the beauty of the whole. We yearn for a church that replicates the original biblical church described in Acts, where no one sits on the sideline as a non-contributing spectator and where no one has to compensate for the "pew-warmers" by doing too many ministries and burning out.
We envision a church that refuses to be ingrown or self-focused, instead on that channels its redemptive power into the world by understanding that community service is not optional. Rather, it's understood as a spiritual mandate from Christ and lived daily through acts of service, which show God's love to others through involvement with local, national, and world missions, along with the planting of new churches. A church full of love and amazed by grace, that people cannot constrain themselves from sharing generously of their resources and material possessions with those in need.
We envision a church where the diversity of God's creation is celebrated in spite of age, race, ethnic origin, or station of life. We dream of a church where help, hope, and healing are offered freely, so that others can experience for themselves the life altering grace of God. We dream of a church that stands firmly on the foundation of God's Word as contained in the Bible. A church that depends on prayer and fasting as its source of power and looks to the Holy Spirit as central to all its activity - filling, guiding, and empowering our lives.
