When you think of church what do you think of? Most people think something like this. Some people think of this. Or worse...they think of this. At The Highlands we've left the old (and scary) ideas of church behind.
The best way to describe The Highlands would be to say that we're a casual laid back community of people doing their best to follow the teachings of Jesus in a broken and screwed up world. We're nowhere near perfect and we don't act like it. We're a congregation gripped by the mission of this first-century troublemaker who said, "There is forgiveness of sins for all who turn to me" (Luke 24:47). We don't know about you, but we need that.
